Coach O grew up in a family of seven swimmers in Kingston, PA. He has an extensive background in age group and senior-level swimming beginning after graduation from Wyoming Valley West HS in 1992. Coach O was an Assistant coach at Emmaus High School and Head Age Group Coach at Emmaus Aquatic Club (EMAC) after being hired at EPSD in 1996. Through Coach O’s involvement with USA Swimming, he has hosted numerous Gold Medal Clinics, participated in USA Clinics at the US Olympic Training Center at Colorado Springs, as well as coaching on the Middle Atlantic Zone Staff as both an Assistant and Head Coach. While he is primarily a Senior Group Coach at EMAC, you may see him fill a variety of roles on all coaching staffs.
On the PIAA level, Tim is a member of the Pennsylvania Aquatics Hall of Fame, located in McCoy Natatorium at Penn State University. He is presently serving his third term as the President of the Pennsylvania High School Swim Coaches Association (PHSSCA) and is a member of the PHSSCA Hall of Fame Committee. He has led the Emmaus Girls team to State Championships in 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2009 and the Emmaus Boys Team to State Championships in 2006 and 2007. In March 2007, he coached the Emmaus High School teams to a sweep of the PA Boys and Girls State Championships. After a year off, he returned to coaching Emmaus in 2009 where he led the girls team to its third consecutive State Championship. The Boys 2021 Team capped off an undefeated dual meet season and finished as the PIAA AAA State Runner-Up. When not on the pool deck, Coach O teaches English at Emmaus High School, while his wife, Tracie, teaches science at Eyer Middle School. Together, they have a son Bailey who plays lacrosse at the United States Military Academy at West Point and a daughter Molly who attends Penn State University #WeAre and enjoys Cheerleading.
Coach Frank has been coaching diving to the Lehigh Valley for around 25 years, beginning at Easton High School in 1986, followed by holding the Head Diving Coach position at Lehigh University for 12 years. After taking a short break while his two girls were growing up, his daughter asked to dive in high school and Frank is now in his 7th year of coaching at Emmaus. Frank has also run a club team out of Lehigh University that has produced national level divers in the past and is now beginning a club team at Emmaus High School. He lives in Coopersburg with his wife Nancy and daughters Erin and Emily.
Coach Rob rejoined the Hornets in 2019 after competing for both the H2Ornets and EMAC over 20 years ago. Rob brings over 20 years of swimming experience, including competing for Division II West Chester University where he swam for 4 years. He then became involved with the USA swimming club by coaching at Golden Ram Aquatic Club of West Chester. Presently, Rob is an assistant coach for Emmaus Aquatic Club's Killer Bee Year Round Programming, and he is looking forward to watching the athletes progress and work with them through both EMAC and EHS. Coach Rob and his wife Amanda welcomed their first child in 2020 named Grayson.
Coach Marc is an Emmaus alumnus, swimming and diving for 4 years 1980-84. He was a district champion and all-state diving performer along with being a district qualifier in swimming. He returned to Emmaus as the diving coach in 1988 after 4 years as a diver and graduating from Shippensburg University where he was All PSAC 1m and 3m as a senior and most improved Senior swimmer/diver for the team.
Marc left the Lehigh Valley for one year before returning and spending 9 years coaching for Emmaus Swimming and Diving. Through the 9 years, Marc coached several District11 podiums and state qualifiers and finalists for Emmaus during this time. Marc also started and ran a US Diving program through EMAC during this time. Marc left Emmaus after the 1999 season upon completion of his education certificate and hiring by the Allentown School District. Marc coached in Allentown at Dieruff and South Mountain Middle School as a swimming coach from 1999 - 2007. After ending his Allentown coaching career Marc coached in the PAAC diving program for several years. While at PAAC, Marc coached many District qualifiers, placers, State qualifiers, and state finalists. Upon leaving PAAC Marc continued his involvement in aquatics teaching Red Cross lifeguard courses at Swim-In-Zone in Center Valley.
Marc’s son James entered Emmaus HS in 2019 at which time Coach O. convinced Marc to return as a member of the diving coaching staff at Emmaus.
Coach Morgan was an Emmaus HS key contributor on the 3-peat PIAA State Swimming Championship teams from 2007 through 2009. While representing the Hornets she was a PIAA State and District 11 champion, a four-year All-American, and set State, District, and EHS team records. She has always valued cross training… at EHS she won the National HS Marine Physical Fitness Girls All-Around Individual Championship in San Diego. In college, Morgan competed in Division I for Bucknell University where she was team captain and voted most valuable swimmer her senior year. Morgan brings a passion for working and developing young swimmers. When not on the pool deck, Morgan is an Occupational Therapist for LVHN. She and her husband, Anthony, welcomed their first child, Nolan, in 2022 and are expecting a baby girl in February 2024.
